Corrin Rankin Bio

I was born and raised in Redwood City where my family has lived since the 1940’s. My husband and I chose to raise our family here because we know that this is best city on the Peninsula.

I began my career at the beginning of the internet boom where I quickly became a compliance manger at two high tech firms. After five years in the fast paced field of high tech, I returned to my family’s business where I established a reputation as a well-respected public safety professional.

My job requires me to interact with the criminal justice system every day so I am uniquely aware of how to keep the residents of Redwood City safe.  In addition to owning a successful business, I have always believed in giving back to this        community and currently serve as:

·       President of the San Mateo County Bail Association

·       Associate member of the San Mateo County Bar Association

·       Paul Harris Fellow with the Redwood City Rotary Foundation

·       Board of Directors, San Mateo County Sheriff's Activity League 

·       Member of Redwood City Downtown Business Group

·       Chamber of Commerce, Government Relations Committee

·       Redwood City PACT Graduate

·       Redwood City Citizen’s Academy

With over 16 years of experience in management and leadership roles in tech, nonprofits and public safety, I have a proven track record of success that I bring to Redwood City as your next City Council member. Together we can strengthen our city and ensure a safe environment for generations to come.
